College Expectations vs Reality

Hey guys! Happy Thursday. I hope everyone is doing well.

I have been crazy busy, but learning a lot while at college. I have learned a lot about myself and the way I deal with changes. As some of you know, it takes me a few days to adjust to changes. This whole school year has been full of changes. Anywhere from moving from one dorm to another, or one roommate to none, and then to a new one.

I have also had many changes in my schedule from day-to-day. I tend to pick up any shifts for work if I am free and have the time.

I love it, but I have truthfully been struggling to find time for God in these moments.
With my schedule being one thing to the next, and staying up late and early mornings, I have to be honest; I have been slacking on finding time for God.

Even Jesus, the Son of God made time to go be with God alone.

“In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:35‬ ‭NASB‬‬

I love being honest in my posts, and to be honest, I thought going to a Christian college would make it easy to find time for God, but it hasn’t been as easy as I thought. I’m sure some of you understand what I mean, but I’m trying.

So I pray you guys can find time for God too. Just find a quiet place and just have a conversation with him.

Thanks for popping in,

Raegan
