Hey! I hope you are having a great day.
Guess where I am!! INDIANA! I’m officially in college as a student! It is hard to believe, but I am so ready for this next step in my life and to see where God might take me.
Probably one of the coolest things about Grace College is just the strong Christian community! I have already had a few crazy adventures here! I started my first ½ a week without a roommate! I’ll be honest, I really loved having the room to myself and having my stuff spread out EVERYWHERE.
Then, two days ago I received an email that I had a roommate coming shortly. I wasn’t ready at all, so I moved as fast as I could back to my room. I had to speed clean. I have been really wanting a roommate who was someone who can push me in my faith and my relationship with God.
This is very important to me because in Proverbs it talks about the importance of surrounding yourself with Christians. Which makes a lot of sense. The verse is Proverbs 13:20, “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”
This is very important to be able to connect with God, and with wiser people. I feel that my roommate will be able to push me to be a better Christian. My first one would’ve done the same thing, but I had to switch roommates due to allergies. I was so bummed about it, but God obviously had a plan for everything, and I can not wait to see what He has planned for this year.
I’m going to pray for you real quick.
Thank you for whoever is reading this, and I pray for them in their next steps in life. Right now I know a lot of my readers are students, so I pray for their upcoming school year, might that be college, or middle school or a random high school year. I pray that as they go through this year they are able to grow in their relationship with You. This year might look different. It definitely will, but I pray that they can do this. I’m sitting here typing this in a mask, never what I expected to be doing EVER!
In Jesus name I pray,
Thank you so much for reading today, and I hope you can check back next week to hear about my next crazy adventure.
Thanks for popping in,
