Welcome back; sorry I didn’t post last week.
I was visiting with friends who went to Operation Barnabas this year. For those of you who are new, Operation Barnabas is an organization that does mission trips. I went two years ago and that experience is the reason why I started this blog.
It was really cool to hear about how this year was different from ones before. This year was much more relaxed due to the changes that were forced upon the organization by COVID.
It was really cool because the name Barnabas means Encouragement in the Bible.
I was able to hear from a lot of people on the team. They all shared with me the different ways they were encouraged by God.
Some of them were able to share the Good News and welcome people into the kingdom! This was awesome!
It was encouraging for me to hear that even with COVID they were able to share and bring people to Jesus – even in the midst of this craziness. I don’t know how many of you guys can relate. This pandemic has made sharing what you believe much more difficult.
Hearing all that they could do really pushed me to reach out at home.
After talking to people, I began to pray that I would be able to be encourage others. I already have had some great opportunities this week.
I challenge each and everyone of you to pray to God for someone to be placed in your life to encourage. See what God can do when you want to glorify Him.
Thanks for popping in,
