Hip, But No Hop( YET!)

Hey guys!! I’m finally back to normal! I mean sorta! I’m on crutches, but no more mega meds! Plus, God has really been revealing himself with this recovery already!!

I don’t know how many of you are new or regular viewers, but I had hip surgery two years ago and this was a complete total repair of that hip! Both surgeries I was put into a machine that moves my leg for me! The first surgery we got to 80 degrees. The goal was 120. This time around I was in the same machine. This whole time I had a lot more support with the surgery and recovery and a lot of prayers and that really showed! Yesterday, I hit 120 on the machine! It was crazy, writing about it brings me to tears! God was so good during this surgery and it was really good to have my faith to fall back on this whole time! God honestly gave me so much strength! From the second I walked into the hospital ALONE! (since I’m in adult I was not allowed to bring my parents back for the pre-operating room!! TERRIFYING! ) But I had my stuffed animal, Barnabas. For those of you who do not know, Barnabas is the character in the Bible know as the encourager. I’m not crazy, but my stuffed animal brought me lots of encouragement for getting through the whole thing! He was also a great reminder to give it all to God. I pray that is something everyone remembers everyday; That we need to give our fears and anxieties to God!

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”- ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NIV

We are supposed to present them to God!

Our fears!

Our worries!

Our praises!

And anything else! I love you guys and missed writing!

Thanks for popping in,
