Hey guys! How is everyone doing?
I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like we’re living in a dream. I hope all of you are staying healthy and safe. Praying for you!
Today we are going to be talking about Jonah again! It is one of my all time favorites!
“The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now something greater than Jonah is here.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12:41‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When Jesus says it’s about himself, he means that he’s going to calm all the storms in life! He’s gonna destroy destruction and break brokenness and kill death. And it really is crazy !! Because when you think about it ..
Jonah ran from God‘s calling, Jesus obeyed.
Jonah caused a storm; Jesus calms the storm.
Jonah spent three days in a fish ; Jesus spent three days in a grave
Jonah faced the darkness for his rebellion while Jesus faced darkness for OUR rebellion!
Every time I come across it , it just gives me chills to think these two stories have complete opposite endings but a lot of things are alike!
The story of Jonah isn’t all about a guy who gets swallowed by a fish. It’s about a way bigger God!
Jonah tuned his back on God a number of times, but God didn’t stop !
Thats the kind of love He has for us! No matter how far you turn and run, God will be ready for you whenever! Feel free to share to whomever needs to know that!
Thanks for poppin in,
