Waited then I Got Answers!

Hey guys, happy Thursday! Today’s going to be short. I’m gonna give you a little update on my hip which is exciting but I’m not gonna talk long. I do not know how many of you are new here. But I have a really long hip history. The short version is here on this link. https://adaughterofgrace.blog/2019/12/12/rough-patches-wont-stop-me/

However, yesterday I went to the doctor to get my results back from MRI and I got them back.  I ended up having problems inside of my hip again that resulted in me having surgery again.

My surgery is on March 30th, and I am so excited. Honestly, most people have asked me why I am not super upset or why I am not crying. I’m honestly pumped we finally found out what’s going on because I have been dealing with this for a little over three years. But we’re finally getting some answers to it. I know I talk about this a lot  I was starting to get upset about my hip and everything. But I finally get some answers and I couldn’t be more grateful for answers through it all. God really taught me patience. I thought after the first surgery I learned all the patience I needed, but I was very wrong.

I am not angry towards God at all, He answered my prayers finally. Only a year later, but he had a plan for me. That makes me think that God’s response to our prayers isn’t always like “okay I’ll fix it right now”, sometimes He wants us to have a little bit of time before we get the answers. Because He has bigger things in store.

Just like Psalms 40:1 says,

I waited patiently for the Lord;

    he turned to me and heard my cry.

This is so true, to my life. I hope that encourages you a little bit today that knowing that God might not answer your prayers right now but He has a plan later down the road.

Thanks for popping in,

Raegan
